Twenty UK hotels have been honoured at the European gala of the World Travel Awards, held at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso in Athens, Greece. The winners will now go forward to compete in the finals of the World Travel Awards, alongside the top hotels from the regional finals of the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Ocean, South and Central America, North America and the Caribbean, and Asia and Australasia. The finals will be held at the Palmerais Gold Palace in Marrakech, Morocco, in November.
